School Fire

This piece of furniture shows how soot from a fire can be cleaned from most items. The bottom half shows the piece of furniture before we cleaned, as it was found after a fire damaged the school and affected all items with smoke and soot. The top half shows the same piece of furniture after we started cleaning it. This item was restored, which is usually a less expensive option than replacing. The school staff were delighted that SERVPRO of Auburn/Rocklin were able to restore most items as many held personal value to the teachers. We understand how a fire can affect the people just as much as the furniture and strive to restore both their comfort and items to pre-loss condition.
